Spring is the best time to visit the best Dead Sea resorts in Jordan as the weather will not be as stiflingly hot as the summertime is, and you will avoid the rainy season. We visited at the beginning of June, and while it was hot, it was not yet the unbearable summer heat!

How to Get to the Dead Sea

The closest airport to the Dead Sea in Jordan is the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman. From the airport, it will take just under an hour to get to the various resorts along the Dead Sea.

The Hilton Dead Sea Resort is one of the best Dead Sea resorts in Jordan. Not only does it have a ton of amenities, but it also has one of the best views of the Dead Sea and a private beach. 

Although it is a bit pricey at around $200 a night, it comes with many extras that make it worth it. At the private beach, you can have an included short mud massage as part of the Dead Sea process. Also at the resort are several pools, including an adult-only area and one with a swim-up bar. 

The rooms are all spacious, and many come with spectacular views of the Dead Sea. Not only that, every single one of the workers were very friendly and helpful. The Hilton Dead Sea Resort also has three restaurants in addition to several bars. Near the lobby is also a small shop where you can buy Dead Sea products for an affordable price. 

Other amenities include free parking and wifi, EV Charging, and a fitness center. Make sure to book in advance, and try to price-match the hotel if you can. If you have Hilton Status, you may even get an upgraded room as we did!

Above all, the hotel’s uniqueness is the Vitalia spa. Surprisingly, it also has a medical center for clients who are looking for mud or salt treatments. Their catalog has many different massage options, as well as other skin treatments, including a salt pool.

The food is also excellent! Their buffet restaurant has a terrace for you to eat under the stars. In addition to this, every night, the restaurant has singers or performers coming from Amman to delight their guests. The ambiance is very festive and lively, and you can dance all night long.

The heated pool is open all year round. The private beach comes with easy access to the Dead Sea, including a lifeguard, but it also holds a plethora of sunbeds and freshwater showers to rinse off the salty Dead Sea water. The hotel provides some mud for you to have your own Dead Sea mud spa treatment.

Of course, you can also find a spa and a gym in this hotel. You can relax in a sauna and steam room or opt for a massage or beauty treatment with Dead Sea products.

You will find three restaurants in this hotel: The Al Deera restaurant with a la carte dishes and buffet dining offers you a delicious buffet breakfast.
