The Hilton Dead Sea Resort is one of the best luxury resorts in Jordan due to the number of amenities and the experience you will get at this hotel. Not only do you get to experience the Dead Sea, but there are also many pools to relax at and a private beach.
This hotel costs around $200 per night for a basic king room. You can choose to upgrade to a sea view with a terrace (or be upgraded thanks to the status from my travel credit card). There are also suites available. The resort has several restaurant choices to eat at which have Middle Eastern and Italian options. The resort also has several bars including a swim-up bar in the main pool.
The resort has a ton of amenities which makes the Dead Sea experience. The main attraction is the private beach along the Dead Sea. Visitors have the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea from this private beach or spend time relaxing on the beach. Sometimes, there are employees on the beach who will help spread the natural mud on you with a massage or you can opt to put the mud on yourself.
Outside of the Dead Sea and the beach, the hotel includes three pools to choose from and tons of lounging space on the terrace overlooking the Dead Sea. Other amenities include the spa, EV charting, and free parking.

If you are looking for a 5-star treat, there is nowhere more luxurious in Jordan to explore the Dead Sea than the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea.
You’ll have no problem checking items off of your Jordan itinerary during your stay. This ultra-modern hotel is perfectly located, just a 20-minute drive from the Baptism Site where John the Baptist is said to have baptized Jesus, and also not too far from Mount Nebo and Mujib Gorge.
However, it will be hard to pull yourself away from the hotel to do any sightseeing because you’ll be busy enjoying all of the hotel’s amenities.
At the hotel’s private beach (with showers and towels!), the staff is on hand to assist you with your mud bath at no extra cost. Then, you’ll bounce between 9 different swimming pools, a fitness center, and a tennis court.
You won’t tire of seeing the sunset from the infinity pool each evening. And all of the complimentary toiletries are locally sourced with Dead Sea minerals.
You’ll start each day with a buffet-style breakfast that goes until 11 am, allowing you to sleep in without missing out. The hardest part of each day will be choosing between the 3 bars and 4 restaurants (some with gorgeous sea views!), including Italian, Lebanese, and even Thai.

The Best Aqaba Luxury Resorts
Intercontinental Aqaba
If looking for one of the best luxury resorts in Jordan, make sure to stay at the Intercontinental Aqaba! Not only does it have a private beach along the Red Sea, but it also offers marvelous views of the Red Sea and the surrounding area.
This hotel costs around $200/night. The resort offers 6 different restaurants and bars that serve Middle Eastern, American, and other International fares. It also has a couple of bars including one on the beach. You are also within walking distance of the Downtown Aqaba area with many restaurants.
At the resort, you have a private beach on the Red Sea complete with loungers, chairs, and umbrellas. They also give you a cooler with ice and water to make sure you stay hydrated being out in the hot Jordanian sun. There is also a very large pool right next to the beach.
The basic rooms come with a private balcony but you can also opt for a suite. The majority of the rooms have a view of the Red Sea. No matter what your preference, the Intercontinental Aqaba is worth the splurge when staying in Aqaba.

Traveling in Jordan is absolutely exciting and you can find some of the best luxury resorts in Jordan. You will often find yourself doing unusual activities (like exploring Wadi Rum, the Martian desert). Although after many days of exploring, sore feet, and a possible sunburn, resting on the idyllic water of the Red Sea is great indeed. And what better option than Luxotel Aqaba Beach Resort & Spa Hotel?!
The hotel has modern and beautiful interiors. It was recently renovated. But what makes it really unique are its private beach and the coral reef that is just a few meters from the shore.
Since September 2022 the hotel has put in place a unique activity to do, the Sea Trek. Even people who don’t know how to swim can now descend into the crystalline Dead Sea waters and enjoy the rich underwater life in the reef. How? Thanks to an innovative system that is widely spread in Mexico, people can walk underwater while wearing a helmet that is connected to the surface with a tube that sends them new air.
The average cost per night is around €130 for the basic rooms, but it may vary depending on the season you are traveling. The rooms with a sea view start from €250.
The food is excellent. The choice varies even during low season when the hotel gets almost empty. And the chef will surprise you with its superb daily specials.
Last but not least, the staff! I have been in other luxurious resorts but have never met such a friendly staff. We even ended up playing water polo with the lifeguards, and the manager who runs hotels also in Wadi Rum and Petra is an exquisite person we had the chance to talk with.
For these reasons, there are absolutely no doubts that when it comes to Aqaba, my choice will always be Luxotel!

Jordan in general, but Aqaba in particular, offers an excellent variety of luxurious resorts, where a dusty traveler, tired from exploring the famous archaeological sites, can relax and let themselves be pampered.
Al Manara, a Luxury Collection hotel, on Aqaba beach is a prime example of one of the best luxury resorts in Jordan. Nestled among other famous name resorts, it is located just away from the old part of the city on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba that leads into the Red Sea.
To reach the old part it takes a short walk or if you have decided to drive in Jordan, less than 5 minutes by car.
The resort is large enough without being too distracting and has been built with incredible attention to detail. The quality of the interiors is refined and perfectly blends modern elements with traditional techniques and sophistication.
There are no corners left to chance. The rooms are quite large with a balcony looking towards the sea or the pool area, whilst the communal areas are spacious and inviting. The pool area is very pleasant, not huge but attractive with the sunbeds separated into different areas to make them private. There is also a children’s pool close to the kids’ club.
For those who prefer beach life, you can choose between two private beaches, with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas.
The three restaurants offer such good variety, that between a drink, a snack, and a massage at the spa, you may decide to never leave the resort! However, don’t forget that Aqaba is also an excellent base for visiting Petra and Wadi Rum on day trips.
The average cost is quite in line with the high prices of Jordan. By booking in advance, you can find prices even around €160 -180.

Dinner at Sun City is prepared in the traditional Bedouin style – food is slow-cooked underneath the ground, giving it a delicious flavor! After the meal, sit by the campfire, drinking some mint tea and chatting with the friendly locals, hop on the wifi to show everyone on social media what you’re up to, or head back to your deck to watch the stars.
Per night, it costs $330 for the once-in-a-lifetime bubble tent experience. As it is a desert, the climate can be harsh and extreme, ranging from scorching heat in the day to being quite cool at night, so don’t forget your sunscreen and sunglasses for the day and a sweater for the evenings.
